EPAL publishes information on EUDR compliance for goods logistics on EPAL pallets and their exchange
The European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) has published information on the provisions of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and explains that the EUDR does not impose any obligations or additional costs on users of EPAL pallets. In its letter, EPAL confirms that the regulation has no impact on the logistics processes of goods suppliers and recipients or on the exchange of EPAL pallets.

BRAPS Forum 2025: Registration is open now
Registration for the BRAPS Forum 2025 is now open. The joint event organised by EPAL and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) will take place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025 (9 a.m. to 12 noon) in Ingolstadt, Germany. Interested parties can participate in the event online via Zoom.

Save the date: BRAPS Forum 2025
The BRAPS Forum 2025 will take place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.). BRAPS (Belt and Road Action of Pallet Sharing) is a joint project between EPAL and the Chinese logistics association CFLP to promote the use of standardised pallets in the transport of goods between Asia and Europe.

EPAL General Assembly: Dual presidency and Executive Board re-elected
At the EPAL general meeting in Budapest, the presidents were confirmed in their positions. Dirk Hoferer (EPAL Germany) and Jarek Maciążek (EPAL Poland) were unanimously re-elected. EPAL publishes the first version of the PPWR Declaration of Conformity for EPAL Euro pallets
On 25 July 2025, the European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) published the first version of the declaration on the conformity of EPAL Euro pallets with the provisions of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). With the PPWR Declaration of Conformity, EPAL confirms that EPAL Euro pallets are reusable packaging that meets the requirements of the PPWR.

Optimised pallet management with the new EPAL Pallet app
The Board of the European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) officially launched the new EPAL Pallet app on 20 March 2025. The EPAL Pallet app is a web-based software application which simplifies pallet management and facilitates goods and pallet tracking.
